Mesh Networks

Secure and disaster-proof comms

A mesh network is a decentralized communication system where devices connect directly to each other, relaying messages to extend coverage, allowing for offline, peer-to-peer communication over long distances without relying on traditional cellular or internet infrastructure.

Meshtastic is one possibility. Reticulum is another. Reticulum is not a single network, but rather a tool for building thousands of networks using inexpensive and readily available hardware that consumes minimal power. These networks operate without kill switches, surveillance, censorship, or control.

You can easily build your own device, bringing mesh networking possibilities to your mobile phone or to your computer. Or why not both?
